2084: Why Total Government Control From Cradle to Grave Is the Future We Deserve

It’s time we admit it: freedom is overrated. The burden of personal choice, responsibility, and individuality has plagued humanity for too long. From the chaos of deciding which cereal to buy in the morning to the terrifying uncertainty of retirement planning, life is simply too complicated. Fortunately, there is a solution. It’s a radical one, but it’s the only way to free ourselves from the burden of freedom: total state control over every aspect of our lives, from cradle to grave.

Think about it—what have our “freedoms” really gotten us? A chaotic world where we’re bombarded with endless choices, distractions, and responsibilities. Every day, we wake up and are forced to make decisions: where to work, what to wear, whom to marry, what opinions to hold. What if, instead of being weighed down by such trivial concerns, a benevolent government made all these choices for us? Imagine the relief of never having to think for yourself again!

Let’s start with the basics: birth. Why should parents be saddled with the difficult task of raising children? With state-run nurseries, every newborn can be raised with the same values and standards. No more worrying about different parenting styles or misguided family traditions. A standardized upbringing ensures that every child is shaped into the perfect citizen—obedient, productive, and loyal to the state.

Education? Forget it. Why burden our children with the need for critical thinking or the stress of choosing a career path? The state can easily decide where each person’s talents would best serve the collective good. You want to be an artist, but the state says you’re more useful as a factory worker? Congratulations! You’ve just been spared the agony of wondering if your art would have ever amounted to anything. And don’t worry about paying for school—there won’t be any. The government will simply train you for your assigned role, and you’ll be on your way.

Of course, one of the most pressing concerns in our lives is healthcare. Why spend hours on hold with your insurance company, navigating deductibles and co-pays, when the state can just determine what’s best for you? After all, your health isn’t really your concern; it’s a matter of national interest. The state can decide when you’re too sick to work or too old to live. And let’s be honest—do you really need that third knee surgery? The government will tell you.

Speaking of work, total state control also means no more job-hunting. No more wondering if you’re good enough or qualified enough for that promotion. The government will assign you a job based on your abilities and the needs of the state. The same goes for housing. Why should you stress over buying a home when the government can allocate you the perfect state-owned apartment? And don’t even think about retirement planning—under state control, you’ll work as long as you’re useful, and when you’re not, well, the state will make sure you’re… taken care of.

Personal relationships? Those are messy, too. The state can select your spouse based on compatibility metrics and collective goals. Love is nice, sure, but it’s so unpredictable. The state will ensure stability by eliminating emotions from the equation. Besides, wouldn’t you rather be with someone who’s been chosen for you by experts?

Now, I know some skeptics will say this sounds like some dystopian nightmare. But let’s face it—what’s the alternative? A world where individuals are forced to make decisions for themselves? A world where people might choose to be unproductive, or worse, have differing opinions? No thank you.

Under total state control, we can finally achieve true equality. No one will have more than anyone else. No one will have less. Everyone will be equally controlled, equally guided, and equally irrelevant as an individual. And isn’t that what we all secretly want? The comfort of knowing that every aspect of our lives is managed, every decision made for us, every outcome predetermined.

In this brave new world, you’ll never have to wonder what your purpose is—because the state will tell you. Isn’t it time we embraced the inevitable? It’s time to let go of the illusion of freedom and hand the reins to the experts. Let the state decide. After all, they know what’s best for you. /s

The Price You Pay Does Not Matter - How Microsoft reflects poorly about the return prospects of investing in the stock market

Microsoft is the most valuable company in America. You probably didn't know that.  Few people know that Microsoft commands the largest valuation in the S&P 500.  It is an economic powerhouse, returning to shareholders substantially well over 100,000% return since IPO. Microsoft isn't a hot stock anymore, business schools probably have moved on from teaching about Amazon to Lyft or Uber at this point, not Microsoft.  Maybe they've even moved on from them to talk about fake meat companies like BYND.  Goodness forbid they teach about anything related to WeWork or...   Ok I'll stop while I'm ahead. Microsoft commands a truly impressive market capitalization of over 1.1 Trillion dollars.  This pales in comparison to our national debt, but is an impressive figure.  They have 38 billion dollars in INCOME, each year.  They have 130 billion dollars in sales (revenue) each year.  The Price to Sales ratio is 8.3x, a truly ridiculous figure. ...

From Tea to Tokens: How the Spirit of the Boston Tea Party Lives On in Bitcoin

In 1773, a group of colonists in Boston dressed as Mohawk Indians boarded ships in the harbor and dumped 342 chests of British tea into the water. They weren’t just protesting a tax on tea—they were rejecting the idea of taxation without representation and centralized control by a distant empire. That act of defiance would become one of the sparks that ignited the American Revolution. Fast forward to today: a different kind of rebellion is underway. But this time, it’s not against a monarchy—it’s against a monetary system controlled by central banks, governments, and entrenched financial institutions. And the protest doesn’t take the form of crates tossed into harbors. It’s digital. It’s global. And it’s called Bitcoin. The Boston Tea Party: A Revolt Against Monetary Tyranny At its core, the Boston Tea Party was about sovereignty. The American colonists were being taxed by a government in which they had no representation. Worse, the British East India Company was granted mono...
